When I am older, as you may have already guessed, I hope to become a chemist. My other wish, is to discover a new element one day. I know many people may find this strange, but I have a favourite element. That element is mendelevium, named for my favourite chemist and my inspiration, Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev. Mendelevium's atomic number is 101. The electronegativity is 1.3. Mendelevium's atomic weight is 258.1. Do you have a favourite element?
Chemistry is Elementary
A blog about me, chemistry, and my life in general.
Quote
I saw in a dream a table where all elements fell into place as required. Awakening, I immediately wrote it down on a piece of paper, only in one place did a correction later seem necessary.

First Blog Post...and a few things about me :)
Welcome to my blog! I run another blog as well as this one, called What's Up In Russia Lately, you can check it out here: http://latelyinrussia.blogspot.ca/
Let's get a few things straight: I am 16, love chemistry, Russia, and Dmitri Mendeleev. (Which reminds me, if you don't know who Dmitri Mendeleev is, shame on you and google it.) I have a little sister who hates science (I hate her, too) and she loves cats. I should get back to doing homework right now, bye for now!
